2010 – 2011: Ta Prom Law Firm 

After completing the lawyer training course at the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia, it is a common practice that all trainee must voluntarily engage in legal practices for at least 1 year. During my 12 months at Ta Prom Law Firm, I have encountered with a variety of interesting cases related to civil and criminal complaint. I also found out that choosing lawyer as daily profession is a very challenging task, yet I did not feel any suffering from the inspiring environment and it make me felt that I wanted to achieve more. 

2011- 2012: Protection Juvenile of Justice 

Since my academic life, I always aspired to protect and support children, especially those who suffered from the several acts which committed by a heartless criminal. During my time at PJJ, most of the crime occurs in rural areas where people are seemed to be less educated and the level of children safety is very low. However, I had no hesitation in accepting these cases, for I wanted to make sure that the perpetrator deserved the punishment that he should deserved. 

2012 – until now: Oum Bunthoeun Law Firm 

While I enjoyed working and protecting innocent children, a new professional challenge arose. My father, a well-known lawyer who dedicated half of his life to supporting legal work for the Royal Government of Cambodia and the private sectors, not to mentioned who used to as medical staff during the nineteen century- decided to establish his own law firm, and I am responsible for its operations. Open in 2012, Oum Bunthoeun Law Firm, though established in 2012 and young in ages, offers services of a very high standard. We handle all types of cases including civil, criminal, commercial, land dispute, labor dispute, marriage etc. Furthermore, I studied to be a Trademark Agent at the Ministry of Commerce, and I received two trainings in two different countries, Japan and China. I am currently working as a Trademark Agent in Cambodia.
